JaydeLover of coffee, killer of plants. Our manager Jayde has a few tricks up her sleeve including a Bachelor in Creative Technologies and enough sign language knowledge to take your order. When she's not at the cafe she's doing freelance illustration and design on @jayde_lemonade_made.
Agora Cafe
Agora Cafe is one of the best cafes in Hamilton where all the proceeds go straight back into the community. We support everything from Woman's refuge, to Red Cross, to former Refugees.

We are running events again with all sorts of options - from simply using the boardroom, to a simple event in the main event space, to full catered events for up to 200 people.

Meet The Team!
GraceGrace is our Head Baker here at Agora and thoroughly enjoys creating many tasty things for you to enjoy- like the strawberry cheesecake donuts!! Grace was homeschooled, traveled Mexico and the USA for 3 months in 2019, and sings in the Hamilton Community Gospel Choir. She also bakes sweet treats in her own time @gracemakescake and creates treats for your lobes out of polymer clay @littlegem.nz. Say hi to Grace.
KatThis hard working kool kat was a loyal customer of Agora long before she started working here. Fun facts, Kat is studying nursing and will be qualified at the end of 2022. She loves working and volunteering with youth and spends her spare time exploring the outdoors. Kat excels in anything she puts her mind too. Kat you're the koolest!
SherrySherry is our wonderful Monday chef & baker. During the rest of her time, Sherry is either volunteering at the Hospice IPU, tending to her home greenhouse and garden, or running her own catering business Mrs Cook . Fun fact, Sherry is an identical twin! She also moved from the US three years ago. Sherry is one of the most generous, friendly and helpful people you'll meet.
KillianKillian is the newest member of our team and we're so stoked to have them here. Killian loves a good iced choc, is an aspiring writer and has one of the best smiles you'll see in existence. Fun fact, working at Agora is their first job! (Not that you would be able to tell with their quick learning skills and team work).
TaliaTalia is one of those rare people who can do pretty much everything (unless she’s rocking one of her regular soccer injuries!). Not only is she a superstar in the front of house but she makes a mean coffee too. Outside of Agora she plays the ukelele and writes her own songs while also studying to be a vet nurse. Talia we love you!!
TatyanaTatyana spends her break times at work reading! She enjoys books, especially thrillers. Tatyana is the oldest of 5. She started at Agora about 6 months ago and has quickly learnt the ropes!! She has qualifications in landscape design and loves working out at Les Mills with her mum!! Her go to Agora treats are rocky road and a latte. Make sure you make Tatyana feel super welcome when she serves you next time you’re in!!
